Channels

Email is the main channel and the one that gets answered. The phone is for scheduling a call, not for a first enquiry. LinkedIn and GitHub are open: the first for employment proposals, the second for the code that is public.

CT-2

Hours and time zone

The working day runs on UTC−3, from San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina. It overlaps in full with Barcelona and with the US east coast, which is where both current jobs come from. A message outside those hours gets an answer the next working day.

What to include

Four facts save a round of emails: the role or the scope of the work, the stack that has to be lived with, the start date, and whether it is employment or freelance. If the scope cannot be written down yet, say so: that is a valid answer and it changes the conversation rather than ending it.

Availability

One freelance project at a time, and remote employment proposals always heard. The availability published on the index page carries the date it was measured on, like every other figure on this site.

CT-5

What is out of scope

The site publishes which work he does not take and what falls outside his operating range, in the operating modes section of the index page. It is written before the conversation on purpose: it is a deliberate filter, and reading it saves both sides time.
